About
Ahoy and welcome aboard. We are a family of 6 embarking on a new adventure, life at sea with 2 teenage girls, 2 young boys, an old dog & 4 birds on a boat. This is our very first boat so we are (k)not particularly nauti(cal); yet!
Prior to this we had an intense lifestyle. Kids in activities everyday afterschool, Dad David working far too much with little time left for adventures. Then Covid hit and everything changed. Our business got even busier and crazier but we discovered the kids were awesome at home schooling and Mum Haylee was a fantastic teacher. We were originally going to buy a caravan / trailer / RV and hit the road, working remotely and homeschooling, but the reality of a large family and actual space on the road got us rethinking that..
Then in late 2021 we discovered boats! Join us as we discover new horizons, new skills and new things about ourselves. This is going to be an exciting ride! Almost 3 years in now, we are settling into this wonderfully free lifestyle.
