Love & Devotion consists of Pia Hillgard, Maria Frennberg and the production/songwriting duo Ralph Håkan Lundberg and Jonas Leo Blees. In the middle of the 90s, Håkan and Jonas were looking for a female vocalist that could sing a series of pop songs they had written. They arranged an audition with numerous vocalists but finally settled for Pia & Maria. The girls had been friends for many years and were in an ABBA cover band and worked really well together so they came as a package and the producers decided to go with both girls. Together they recorded the album "So Good" that was released in 1997. The music is highly influenced by ABBA and soon found a following.
