Welcome to the You Tube Channel of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
We only started this in May 2020, when we held our first 'Virtual Open Day', but Mathematics at Cambridge has been going strong since over 300 years ago. Since the times of Isaac Newton, other famous mathematicians have taught here, such as Stephen Hawking and Field Medallist Tim Gowers and Caucher Birkar. Mathematics in Cambridge has a distinguished history, but is not stuck in the past: the research carried out here is at the forefront of modern advancements to tackle problems such as climate change, cancer treatment, and risk management, and recent additions to our lecture courses for undergraduates include Mathematical Biology, Quantum information and Computation, and The Mathematics of Machine Learning.
