The Basement is a Youtube Gaming duo of friends from Minnesota. There's no swearing and we avoid games with adult imagery and themes unless they are suitably subtle. The Basement is the friendliest place on YouTube - come hang out with us! We post three videos per week, are semi-active in the comments, and we sometimes do seasonal and holiday events. Ted and Peter's biggest series include Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild, and we've played several other Nintendo IPs, Minecraft, and many indie games.
The Basement operates out of Peter's actual basement which contains the following: a Nintendo Entertainment System, a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, a Gamecube, a Wii, a Wii U, an NES Classic, an SNES Classic, and a Nintendo Switch OLED. We record through two separate Elgato capture devices into Windows based PCs.
