At the end of 2017, Montenegro International Guitar Competition became the part of Euro Strings platform - European Guitar Festival Collaborative, which is financed from the budget of the EU program Creative Europe. Euro Strings functions as a collaborative of 17 European guitar festivals focused on supporting the circulation of emerging talents among festivals and offering emerging guitar players an opportunity to reach wider international audiences.
