The Sisters of Divine Mercy is a Public Association of the Faithful established by Bishop Frederick Henry in the Diocese of Calgary, in 2015, the Jubilee Year of Mercy. We are both, a contemplative & active community, and we recognize the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, & obedience as a gift of The Divine Mercy, which we embrace by vow in loving response to our call to religious life. We depend greatly on the presence of our Eucharistic Spouse and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy and our Mother, to help us in our daily activities and we could not live or do anything without them. Our vocation to live the evangelical counsels for the glory of God, the salvation of souls, and the proclamation of God’s infinite love & mercy as witnessed by the lives of our Spiritual Founders, St. Faustina and St. John Paul II, only arises from the graces received from the Sacred Liturgy and Eucharistic Adoration.
