The Beatles broke up the day Zach was born. He's felt guilty about it ever since.
Raised in NYC & Provincetown, Zach attended the legendary St. Ann's Performing Arts School & Stagedoor Manor. He performed in Runaways Off-Broadway, Grease & more recently starred as Roger in RENT. Zach is also a VO actor, best known as the voice of a national Taco Bell ad campaign.
He’s played countless gigs with his bands Ghoulspoon, Divided by Zero, & Secret Seven, supporting the likes of Foo Fighters, Korn, Incubus, Deftones, Blink-182, No Doubt, Sublime & released 7 albums.
In 2022, Zach was announced as the new singer for multi-platinum band Smash Mouth. The official word came on Kevan Kenney’s show live on KROQ, where Smash Mouth christened their new era by debuting a fairly faithful, but decidedly Mouth-y cover of Rick Astley‘s iconic 1987 hit “Never Gonna Give You Up” in which Zach strikes the perfect blend of scratchy Harwell-esque vocals and his own upbeat vibe.
