Welcome to Dairy Air Farms, my name’s Jay and until a few years ago I was a real dairy / crop farmer. Due to changes in the market and NAFTA we ended up selling the farm as my parents were getting older and didn’t want to take on more debt to expand the farm and make the change away from dairy. Shortly after Giant’s came out with Farming Simulator and I’ve been farming “virtually” ever since.
When Farming Simulator 22 came out I decided to start this channel as it’s the most feature filled simulator to date. I’ve always found that there’s a big disconnect between farming and people’s opinions of farms. So in my videos I aim to help you understand the way the game works, also as offering real life insights as to how farm work so you know why farmers do what they do and why.
Modern farms are not what they were 50 yrs ago, they are now high-tech operations that aim to get the most out of the land with as little environmental impact as possible, making them more sustainable.
