Dr. Melissa Newman is โthe nonprofit prof,โ a university professor specializing in teaching nonprofit management. She has over a decade of experience as an educator and 20 years as a paid nonprofit staff leader at the Director level. In 2022, she transitioned from working for nonprofits to serving as a board member. Melissa holds four degrees, including a BBA in Marketing, an MBA, an MA in Higher Education, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership, and she presently serves on three nonprofit boards.
