For 23 years I was atheist. Not only did I not believe in God, I also hated Him. Doesn't make much sense right? Well that's because it didn't, because all that time I was really trying to be my own god and live life on my own terms.
Living a life of chasing vanity, material pleasures, fame, girls and all manner of the sinful things, I eventually fell into despair and depression. I felt like there was no hope, and if my worldview was true and there was no God, then my life is all a cosmic accident, no such thing as love, no such thing as meaning, it's all meaningless. Sometimes it takes you getting to the darkest points where you don't even value your life anymore to wakeup with give a glimmer of hope and that there may be light after all.
I now know I was all wrong. I have found the Light by the grace of God, and His name is Jesus Christ. I hope to share the grace that He has given me with you as well, so you may also know the Creator of the universe with all His love and joy. Amen
