Dr. Maurice D. Carter, Bishop and Senior Pastor, An anointed visionary and dynamic leader, Bishop Carter established Crystal Cathedral Ministries in 1994, through the leading of the Lord Jesus Christ. A lifelong professional in the field of education, Bishop Carter has a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, a Master’s in Public Administration, and an Endorsement in Education Administration, Counseling, and Superintendent Certification. He has served in a number of positions, including Adjunct Professor at Southside Community College, and Virginia Union University, Dean of students, and Principal of a high school, and Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent of a central Virginia high school. Currently, Bishop Carter holds a Professorship at a local college in additional to being a full-time Pastor.
