I play when stirred inside, expressing what moves me, under the present influences. Often hindered, mostly by my own mental and technical inabilities.
My work is to escape all forms of expectation or conditioning. I have only a short idea of where to go next. Nature has to do the rest. Competition, comparison and distraction are fatal hindrances to pure and authentic creation.
Music is a flow of events, directed under the power of change. We do not control the flow. It is ruled by universal principles of cause and effect. And not always pleasant.
Flowing like water, life becomes beautiful at times. So does music. I consider human efforts to control outcomes pretty vain and useless. Even arrogant.
Music, like life, go where it wants and the audience hears what it wants. Each one has his own perception of reality.
What is there to control? And who wants to control anyway?
Any moment in life is new and unique, different from any other moment.
