Gotay "El Autentiko" is a singer, rapper, and reggaeton producer who lives in Puerto Rico and is successful all over the Latin music world as well as on both coasts of the United States. Born Gotay Alexis Perez in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to Bayamon, PR.
After graduating from high school, he began studying engineering while immersing himself in the local urban music scene. He was signed to work with Real G for Life, better known as Ñengo Flow
He issued his debut album, El del Vibrato, under the Autentiko Music banner. The single "El Reencuentro" was produced by Mambo Kingz and created the opportunity for many collaborations to follow. "Tu," was produced by Alzule El Bioquimico. In 2012, the song "Te Hable Claro," a collab with Ñengo Flow, was a hit in Latam and allowed him to tour internationally.
