William “Willy G” Guy was born on July 31, 1990 in Honolulu and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Once living in a homeless shelter in Waianae and never having a “home” due to moving from house to house, Hawaii was far from paradise. His father Rickey, a well known pimp, died of cancer when Willy G was the tender age of 13. Three years later his mother, Linda, a single mom, unexpectedly passed of a brain aneurism leaving him and his five siblings without their Mom and only provider. He was forced to split up from his family, never being contacted from the state after becoming an orphan, forcing him to fend for himself at 16. He surrounded and lost himself in music which helped pull himself together and keep pushing.
