Films are usually made for one of two purposes: Entertainment(Money) or an Artistic release for anyone from the Director to the Cinematographer to the actor. Some projects unapologetically aim for only one of these things. Some aim for both. Others weren’t sure what they were doing but had a budget green lit and thought they’d better start shooting stuff. It’s difficult to achieve one, and a rare delight when a movie succeeds at both, but add the desire of the viewer to the stew and you can see why the internet has become a drunken tirade in the local chippy at midnight. And nobody’s listening.
