Marzena Malinowska studied violin at the Karol Lipinski Acad

Marzena Malinowska studied violin at the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw with prof. Krzysztof Bruczkowski and in 2012 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig with prof. Roland Baldini. As a member of chamber ensembles and orchestras she took part in prestigious festivals, being honoured to share the stage with artists like Noah Bendix-Balgley, Isabelle Faust, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Christian Ihle Hadland, Christian Zacharias and members of Berlin Philharmonic and Lutosławski Quartet. Since 2019 she holds the position of viola section co-leader in NFM Chamber Orchestra Leopoldinum. She regularly takes part in numerous international orchestra projects. As one of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic's principals, she takes part in creating and developing new ways of performing classical music, including playing entire concerts from memory. She co-founded a violin quartet Elliptique Ensemble, with which she leads educational projects for school orchestras.
