Ethereal vocals, soaring saxophone, nature recordings, acoustic twiddles & synth forays - Daley Road is the brainchild of James Kelly (The Tipsy Scholars) and Hugo Lee (Icehouse), friends from the ANU School of Music living in Naarm/Melbourne.
A warm blanket on a rainy day, Daley Road sets out to nourish the soul following their maxim âcreate what you wish to experienceâ.
Drawing inspiration from acts such as Bon Iver, Novo Amor and Vancouver Sleep Clinic, this folktronica duo have been working hard on a body of music, with their first two singles âAll I Ever Wantedâ and "18" being a folky blend of subtle textures, field recordings, lo-fi beats and their signature weaving of sax & vocals - mixed by musical mastermind Hayden Calnin.
