Hymnology is the study of church music. There are real hymnologists out there, and I don't have enough degrees to be counted among them...but I do have over a decade of experience making and leading musical worship in local churches. I love and follow Jesus, I care about worship, I care about culture, and I care about the Church. The purpose of this channel is to engage, encourage, inform, instruct and inspire others who care about these things too. It's a place for casual honest conversation about how we make music to worship our Creator, a place to gain some insights and maybe even skills. Whatever usefulness this channel has, you can expect it to be interspersed with my own musings and projects, and hopefully we'll have some fun along the way.
