Maestro Ilija Ampevski, nicknamed ‘’Ampe’’ by the colleagues.
Born in Skopje, Macedonia by mother Marika and father Blagoja from whom he inherits the genes for music, actually Blagoja used to play accordion and guitar but had a big desire to play clarinet. As a result of this mixture of genes, Ilija at the age of 15 has already started performing at family events, engagement parties, weddings, banquets. He receives his first professional offer from the music GROUP Kalabalak, after which he performs at,, The Folk Hit of The Year’’ invited by the famous Macedonian diva,, Blaga Petreska’’,where he is substituting the legendary musician Ferus Mustafov, after which performance he receive the most important offer in his life, the offer to become a member of the legendary group:’’ Makedonski Merak’’, in which bend he has the honor to play alongside the legendary Macedonian artist on accordion , Mr. Milan Zavkov.
