Hi, I'm Chris. I'm an archaeologist with a focus on Late Antique religion and Western Esotericism.. I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Egyptology & Middle Eastern Heritage at UCL. My research interests are around the ethics of the antiquities trade in the Middle East, especially the reception & exchange of religious texts.
Welcome to my YouTube channel. I talk about ancient magic in the material record, theurgy & philosophy as well as theoretical approaches to the study of esotericism. I take special notice of Neoplatonism & Hermetism and make content relating to these currents using academic material.
