Professor Richard Jurus is an Honors Graduate with Comprehensive & Advanced Program Diplomas from The Rhode Island School of Professional Photography (1979). He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography with minors in Education & Ceramics from Youngstown State University (1984), a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Photography with a minor in Printmaking from The Ohio State University (1987), and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Photography from The Ohio State University (1995).
His Fine Art photographs are housed in numerous private collections across the country as well as in the permanent collections of The Butler Institute of American Art, The Columbus Metropolitan Library, The Dayton Art Institute, The Erie Museum of Art, Indiana University East, The Ohio State University, The Richmond Art Museum, Sinclair Community College, The University of Dayton, and The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
