Duble is a 15 year old 38” racing Shetland.
His registered name is Merkisayre Sea Duble and he was born and bred on the Shetland isles, where he lived for the first 5 years of his life.
He was sold at auction in 2016 and travelled from Shetland isles to Essex. He was brought by a racing team and they tried to break him in to race but he proved to tricky and they gave up.
Poppy was asked to try Duble and after one spin and her hitting the deck they clicked and never looked back. We brought him in October 2017.
The following year in 2018 Poppy & Duble joined the Shetland Pony Grand National team and had the most amazing year . They came 2nd at Badminton in their first race , Won twice and Royal Windsor Horse Show and even won the first Olympia Qualifier.
