My name is Paul, and I have Parkinson's disease (PD). I live in London, and am over 60 years old. I've had PD for a few years, and am learning more about the disease and its treatments every day.
I've started to keep a series of video diaries to record how life with Parkinsons is. I recorded the first two videos last year, in July 2020. Everybody with Parkinsons seems to have their own unique version---my journey is very likely different from yours, or that of your family or friend.
This channel is not intended for children, but not because of anything disturbing -- unless you find ageing and disease disturbing. ;-)
I plan to look into the causes of Parkinsons, some of the treatments, symptoms and side effects of medications, and future treatment options, including PhotoBioModulation (PBM) -- using light as a treatment option.
