FREE! - SAT Quick Tips - FREE!
The Desmos Graphing Calculator is embedded on the Digital SAT. These super short videos show (in real time) how to quickly work SAT Math items using calculator strategies.
Learning Desmos calculator strategies gives you more options on SAT math questions. If you are taking the October SAT, you still have plenty of time to master these techniques. Links to the SAT/College version of the Desmos graphing calculator is in the show notes for each video.
Desmos is free. This training is free. Don't sit for another SAT until you have familiarized yourself with this powerful tool.

I still have many more SAT Quick tips coming your way, so stay tuned! Some of the SAT Quick Tip Strategies will work on the ACT, but keep in mind that you have only 1 minute per question on ACT, so use your best judgement about whether an SAT Quick Tip strategy will work for you.
Also, I had a few comments about how 'easy' certain items were and that the strategies given were unnecessary. For many, that is absolutely TRUE! If you know of a faster, easier method, you should (of course) use that! What I am showing is a technique that MAY prove helpful on a similar problem, but, keep in mind, I am not suggesting the strategies are better or even preferred on many of these items. A strategy you may decide NOT to use on a simple item may come in handy on a much more challenging item later in the test, so try to focus more on the technique (and not whether it is something you'd actually need on that particular item).
Finally, I am NOT really teaching you the math behind these items. I am sort of 'hacking' these tests. Just know that 'hacking' will never give you a top score. You definitely need to know the math to get the best results on the ACT or the SAT. Check out my 'teaching' videos for more in depth explanations of some of the mathematics. I will be producing more lessons in the future to address some of the math you could encounter on the ACT and/or SAT.

Saturdays are for SAT!
I am working on the next round of SAT prep, and the next SAT Prep video for students will be released on Saturday, March 30th. The teaching materials should be released on or before Monday, April 1st.
The next new series of state test prep I am creating will for the Georgia Milestones Algebra 1 EOC! I hope to have the first practice set ready for my store sometime next week (It will be free for a limited time).

SAT® Prep starts this week!

The new Digital SAT® has many teachers and students scrambling for information and tips about how to best prepare for the test. This training series for students is one place you can get really specific strategies that will come in handy when using the official SAT® version of the Desmos testing calculator. Links will be provided (in the show notes on each video) and you will be able to work along as I show you the cool features in Desmos that will give you an edge on test day.
If you are a teacher, this is a training series you can share with your classes. If you are a student, this is a series you can work through to become more familiar with the Desmos graphing calculator.
