A new upload from @GreasyFingers is always a treat, especially if there’s an Alfa involved. It gets even better if it’s one I happen to have written a book about :)

@grouplotus just posted a gem of a video: Italian designer Paolo Martin telling the story of Lotus's stillborn flagship sedan. Well worth a watch!

Every time @AutoDidaktFilms uploads, it’s a real treat for my car designer mind… Check it out, it’s well worth your time!

The hugely fascinating Maserati Quattroporte V is one of those cars I had always wanted to make a video of, but never managed because I didn't know where to procure an example to film. Thankfully, @AutoDidaktFilms has just given this most Italian of cars the homage it deserves. Brilliant video, go check it out!

@AutoDidaktFilms doesn't publish often, but when he does, it's time to sit back with a cup of coffee and savour every second of it. YouTube is chock full of car content, but this quality and actual knowledge are very rare and deserve to be appreciated.

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Ian Seabrook from @HubNut, and I had a lovely time with him and Jim Magill from @alsodriven on the Lingotto's rooftop test track talking Italian car history. Check it out, it's a good one.
Wish you all a lovely Easter weekend!

Recently, quite a few of you have contacted me via e-mail to enquiry about the hiatus in video production here on Roadster Life. I'm glad you enjoy my work, and rest assured that I'm doing well. The extended quiet period on this channel is due to other commitments getting in the way, and I hope to be able to upload new stuff soon enough. Meanwhile, you'll find me on Instagram, where I've set up a car-centric account called roadsterlife_italy: www.instagram.com/roadsterlife_italy/?igsh=ZTRoNnh…

Mario Revelli Di Beaumont.
The name alone exudes charm and sophistication, and good taste is what his story is all about. Possibly the most prolific and influential automobile designer you've never heard of, Revelli is the protagonist of my latest article for Hagerty Media, one I'm especially proud of. Enjoy: www.hagerty.com/media/automotive-history/mario-rev…

When it comes to automobile design, the period between the end of WWII and the early 60s saw an intense creative exchange between the two sides of the Atlantic. And if there's one man whose career represents this era of "transatlantic style" better than anyone else, it's Giovanni Savonuzzi, the protagonist of my latest article for Hagerty Media. If you're curious, check it out here: www.hagerty.com/media/design/giovanni-savonuzzi-th…

My friend @AutoDidaktFilms has just started a YouTube channel and I couldn’t be happier. He’s the finest design commentator and critic I know, and the production values are excellent. So I suggest you do yourself a favor: watch this video and subscribe to the channel. You won’t regret it!

I've been obsessed with cars for as long as I can remember, and I started drawing them the very moment I could hold a pen in my hand: this led me to pursue a career as a car designer, and that's been my profession for ten years.
With this channel, I want to create a space dedicated to the "Gentleman Car Enthusiast": a place to celebrate the culture and love for the automobile in the widest sense.
