I'm a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
I primarily make BookTube and AuthorTube content. My greatest literary loves are classic world lit and historical fiction. I also enjoy nonfiction about history, science, and religion.
I write historical fiction sagas, mostly set in the 20th century. When I say saga, I really mean saga! Many of my books are deliberately planned at doorstopper length, since that's the traditional standard for hist-fic set over many years and with large ensemble casts.
I started uploading content again after nine years in preparation for reciting Canto I of Inferno in the original Medieval Florentine Tuscan on Dante's 700th death anniversary. Many of my videos are about Dante, his writings, and all things related to him.
I love silent and early sound film, history, world languages and religions, animals, art, and piercings. I'm also unapologetically Jewish, a Second Wave radical feminist, and an old-school Socialist.
