Europa Scythia is a channel dedicated to the lesser-known tribes of Europe. Why the name Europa Scythia? DNA studies conducted on ancient Scythian samples have shown a close genetic distance to these modern lesser-known tribes mentioned, of which include: Chechens, Ingush, Circassians, Lezgins, Volga Tatars, Chuvashes, Komis, Udmurts, Mordvins, etc.
The nomadic Yamnaya tribes, whom are the originators of the Indo-European invasions, were genetically similar to the Scythians, reflecting roughly 50% North Caucasus ancestry and 50% North Europe. Their invasions west and east of the Steppes spread the Caucasus genetic component throughout Europe and Central Asia.
