BOZA Tracks is a political music project.
We are activists, refugees/migrants and musicians. Beyond the external EU border, along refugee routes on the odyssey towards Europe, together we record a music album. The songs shall connect us across borders and languages in our daily struggle against Fortress Europe.
Boza - meaning victory in Bambara, became the word for a successfull crossing of the external EU border.
We understand the process of recording in different places and studios as a political statement: Recording Against Borders.
This way we create a common voice against the racist and neocolonial isolation policies of the EU and demand for a right of freedom of movement for all.
We are part of a anti-racist network of initiatives, e.g. welcome2europe, WatchTheMed Alarmphone and NoBorder Morocco.
