Negeri Films aims to produce creative documentaries with high artistic valuesâfilms that surprise, inspire, engage and inform.
Since its inception in 2008, Negeri has produced three feature-length documentaries: âThe Land Beneath the Fogâ (2011), âSong for My Childrenâ (2019) and âA Boarding Schoolâ (2019). Our films have traveled extensively in the international film festival circuit, including Dok-Leipzig, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and won several awards such as Special Jury Prize Dubai International Film Festival, Best Debut Documentary Almaty International Film Festival, NETPAC Awards.
We aim to share high-quality creative documentaries, both short and feature as well to share the creative process of producing them.
