Two workers of Endiscovery are sent into the woods to search for a missing woman and man, named Chloe Wyatts and Noah Potts respectively. While inside the woods, they begin seeing and hearing strange things, such as lights in abandoned areas, footsteps, etc.
Eventually, they start getting nervous, and physically hurt, but they cannot abandon their mission until they find the woman.
