I found a passion for using my creativity, videography and storytelling skills to help showcase diversity across universities globally. My ultimate goal is to encourage people of color to see ourselves thriving in institutions that we have traditionally been underrepresented in. I aim to ensure that the doors opened for me are left opened even wider for those who will come next.
I am fascinated by a camera’s ability to capture the deepest intricacies of the human mind. Filmmaking is empowering. It allows me to create visually-captivating and emotionally-stirring stories. What’s most fascinating is a camera’s ability to be the tool that helps me continuously learn. With my eye in the viewfinder, there’s no longer a barrier between my creativity and the infinite inspiration the world offers. This is my passion.
