Every month I take a subscriber from Straight Up Fishing App along fishing with me. This month I fished with Nathan Sipes.
One thing everyone speaks about summer fishing is “deep water”. To be fair “deep” in the south is almost always the wrong way to go in the summer. While bass often times suspend over deep water it’s very few times where there’s life deeper than 30ft. Most of the bio is in 10 or less.
During this trip the water temp was 91-94 degrees and we caught all of our bass from laydowns in 2ft or less.
We filmed a workshop detailing the specific types of laydown we caught our bass on that will soon be live in the SUF app.
