The Hush Now have made an impression on music critics and fans by wedding the âlush sugar-spun melodies of shoegazeâs dreamy heydayâ to âthe hooky muscle of bands like Guided by Voices and Built To Spillâ.
The band includes singer/songwriters Noel Kelly, Adam Quane, Pat MacDonald, and Barry Marino. Formed by Kelly in 2007, the band released their self-titled debut independently in 2008, and followed that up with their second album Constellations in 2010. Memos, their 3rd full-length followed their EP, Shiver Me Starships, and ascended to the top 25 on the CMJ charts.
The Hush Now has performed at CMJ and SXSW as well as toured nationally.
