Born on February 12, 1976, in Tehran, Iran and growing up in Sweden, Shahryar Rumi started playing the piano at the age of 11 and has become a Persian pop artist.
Shahryar’s love for the arts does not stop with music. His interest in architectural monuments resulted in him earning a degree in architectural design and business from a highly respected university in Miami, Florida — yet he never took his eyes off of his inner passion for music.
In 2002, while working in his professional field of architectural designs in Southern California, Shahryar signed a contract with Hassan Shamaizadeh, one of the most respected songwriters and producers of Persian pop music.
