Announcing the launch of the official Cryptic Jungle label! First drop features 4 unreleased Sky Joose tracks from '94 and '95, including the holy grail 'Assassinate' that was previously exclusive to a Japan-only compilation. I just finished making the artwork for Sky Joose's first 'Best Of' digital compilation, featuring a selection of hard-to-find ragga jungle bits & some UKG (all remastered from the original DATs). Also includes some alternate mixes and an unreleased bonus track. Full album should be available within a day or two, and I'll upload some tracks from it on here. For any fans of SOUR or No U-Turn:
I recently came across an unreleased SOUR track produced by Deependance, which was engineered by Nico in '95 - barely any info about it online. It was gonna be the SOUR022 release, but it was pulled for some reason. Currently remastering it (to the best of my abilities) from an unplayed cassette. A bit different for Nico, mostly laidback R&B vibes, but still a great tune. Might be one of the rarest tracks on the channel - Keep your eyes out!
