Creating music during the pandemic is problematic because there's no live audiences to interact with. But the new live streaming series at Falcon Recording Studios in Portland, OR is exciting thanks to the high quality audio and video--including camera angles that allow viewers to see what they never get to see at a music venue.
In this video, you can see the Mel Brown B-3 Organ Group, which has been playing on Thursday nights in Portland, OR for 23 years, playing just like they normally do: with spirit and spontaneity. I don't think you'd guess it had been 3 months since we'd played.

Iām a Portland, Oregon based musician (primarily Hammond organ). Iām originally from the San Francisco Bay Area but am now an Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee. My channel includes many videos of my various groups performing live, along with videos of friends performing, cat & family videos, and more.
Also, there are some rare videos of great soul, jazz, blues, & gospel artists that I recorded off the air with a SVHS tape machine back in the day. I donāt on the rights to those, and I share them free of charge in hopes others will enjoy them as I do. There are many more of those videos in my āVideo Vaultā that I intend to start sharing soon.
