A couple of soon to be expats. Making the jump from the US to who-knows-where in pursuit of better medical care, clean air, better quality of food and affordable living.
We have a ton of stuff to get rid of before we go. We also have to tie up financial ends. Refill all medications, alter the number of people on our cell phone plan and do a scouting trip so that we can meet the doctor who will be treating me for my rare disease face to face. All of this should be done within 5 months time.
Oh, and my elderly mom might have to come with us since, even though I have siblings, because there is a lot going on and she's gonna need somebody to look out for her. If she comes, the first thing I'm going to do is throw her onto the back of a horse and take pictures of her riding! 🤣
The count down has begun! 5 months till take-off.
