Curious Comedy Theater is a non-profit, 501(c)(3); we are the first non-profit theater in Portland devoted entirely to the art of comedy. The theater is operated by founder Stacey Hallal (artistic director), who studied in Chicago's top theaters before establishing Curious Comedy in Northeast Portland in October 2008. The theater creates a wide range of sketch, improvisation, and stand-up comedy productions. Our Curious Comedy Training Center offers classes and workshops across many comedic disciplines, including improv, sketch writing, and stand-up comedy.
