Happy 20th birthday to the Nintendo DS!! Canāt believe its been TWO decades since the system came out. And what an awesome handheld it was! It had some pretty good titles on there. Lots of good Mario titles, Zeldas, Pokemons, Castlevanias, etc. There were a lot of great oddball titles too, like āFeel the Magic XY/XXā, āTrauma Center: Under the Knifeā and āTouch the Deadā. Through out its lifespan I had the original phat DS, DS Lite and the DSi. The Flipnote app on the DSi was a lot of fun too.

HELLLLLO INTERNET! Itās me Josh, The Aging Gamer! Itās been a while since Iāve done some updating and I apologize for leaving everyone in the dark about everything.
So where did I go? Well, back in March I uploaded my last video and then I decided to take a little break. Iāll admit, some of it was burnout, but not because I donāt like what I do, but because its frustrating trying to play the YouTube algorithm game. I donāt post daily nor do I talk about current news and events. I know my videos arenāt super high quality or anything either so I think I stay hidden in the dark corners of YouTube with a bunch of other content creators. So my little break turned into a longer break. BUT Iām wanting to continue. Iāll be hitting nine years on YouTube this November and I want to at least make it to ten.
So what now? Iāve actually been working on a bunch of videos. I want to have a steady flow of content so Iāll be releasing them about once a week or so. Iām not quite ready to start that progress yet but Iāll let you guys know when thatāll happen!
In the meantime, I got two other things I want to announce! First, Iāve started up a new Instagram exclusive for talking about current video game news, updates about future videos Iām doing and also just a place to chat with all of you! My whole āThe Aging Gamerā stuff started on instagram but unfortunately that account got deleted. Well, Iām starting a new one. ALSO, Iāll be releasing one of my videos TOMORROW (my birthday btw š)! I was working on a short one that kind of dealt with the Marvel vs Capcom series. At the time I made it I had no idea when the Marvel/Capcom collection would release. But now that itās been announced that it will release on 9/12, well, shit, I might as well release the video early.
