Through articles by, for and about our community, FunTimes reflects the many voices of the African Diaspora and its cultural points of view. Because we can’t depend on mainstream media to tell our story with balance, fairness, respect and the appropriate cultural perspective, there is a crying need for a publication that speaks to and for the Mid-Atlantic area’s growing African, Caribbean and African-Latino communities in particular alliance with African Americans.
