Hey peeps
So… as a cradle Catholic (Patrick) 25+ years ago was the last time I was in church. As my parents divorced and my family disintegrated around me, my faith disappeared.

My new life was ultimately very tumultuous. Troubles continued virtually unabated. I always had the feeling that there was, ten miles to go, with five miles of gas in the tank. Anxiety would grow and spread like a forest fire at every opportunity.

Years passed. Marriage. Family. Last year we, as a family had a discussion. Our decision was to attend some informational classes on being Catholic.

At the RCIA meeting everything clicked. We felt loved. Welcomed. A family.

It is inconceivable how wonderful the love and warmth now feel.

A year after that initial meeting, I (Patrick) have come full circle and picked up where I left off, as an altar server! The rest of the family has their own ministries as well.

To those that believe, come home. Everyone else, follow the love. RCIA classes are starting soon and are a great way to ask questions, or to feel if this is for you.

You can always google this Jesus person for yourself and see what he is about. Or hey, check out the series “The Chosen” it’s pretty wild!

Be brave, follow your heart, it feels better than anxiety!
