While one half of her Zillenial-Bubble starts settling down and the other half strives for self-improvement, the Hamburg-based-up-and-coming artist INSA works on her Debut-EP, looking back at the time that often foolishly gets romanticised as the „carefree youth“. In her songs, she reflects on interpersonal relationships and defining moments. She takes her listeners into her world that sometimes consists of dazzling mirrorballs and escalating house parties, but also of university degrees and tax declarations. It's about love and loss, self-esteem and self-doubts. INSA creates a very personal sound, somewhere between shimmering pop and melancholic indie. She herself likes to describe it as a late summer/early fall sound that feels exactly like the days when the frost is already sticking to the car windows in the morning, but the sun is still warming your skin at midday. All this with a voice that is not only heard, but above all felt.
