Industrial music pioneers "SPK", formed in Sydney, Australia in 1978 when psychiatric nurses Neil Hill (Ne/H/il) and Graeme Revell recruited 16 year old Irish born bassist and composer David Virgin.
David in turn recruited Danny Rumour, his friend and guitar player, as well as Mark Boswell, the drummer of "Voight 465".
This SPK wrote and rehersed the 1979 recordings in Mansion House, Sydney where Neil and David lived.
At "Axent Studios" this group recorded the songs No More, Germanik, Contact, Mekano/Factory, Retard and Slogun in 1979.
After Neil Hill's death David Virgin and Danny Rumour formed "Sekret Sekret".
From 1980 onwards Graeme Revell continued SPK as a dance-funk outfit.
The 1979 recordings ( But NOT the song "No More")were later re-issued on the album "Auto De Fe"
