I remember meeting an old fisherman, we chatted and he told me of some amazing places to fish. I thanked him and he continued on. He told me most fisher people keep their good spots secret and that’s ok a bit. In his experience he said, If we don’t tell people of these beautiful spots, then no one knows about them. No one is there to protect them when industry comes knocking, or when we notice the climate and waters changing. We need to tell more people about these spots. We need more people to experience it, to feel it, and to protect it. It is our responsibility as fisher people to protect our waters. These are the places I’m talking about.
