I donā€™t do numbers, nor do I chase followers. Yesterday, I meditated with 200 people; today, I sit in practice alone. But not truly aloneā€”for the light that is throughout flows through everything. It is you, and it is me.

When I died in the hospital in 2014, God said, ā€œLeave your work and go talk to people,ā€ then sent me back here. I knew then that what we shared wouldnā€™t be for popularity or fame, but for authenticity, love, and the few.

Some days, however, the few is more than I ever imagined. And that fills the heart with gratitudeā€”so good for this world of ours, so good in the quiet truth we share.

I love you.John

Dear Ones,
This Thanksgiving, as I reflect on the incredible community that has grown around this work, Iā€™m deeply grateful for your presence and the ways you help this message reach those who need it most. Your genuine enthusiasm and word of mouth have always been the most powerful ways to share these teachings and practices. Every time you speak about this work from the heart, you help create meaningful connections with those who are searching for something deeper and more authentic.

āœØ Review and Share:
If youā€™ve connected with our books, meditations, or teachings, please leave a review online or share your thoughts in community spaces. A few honest words can open doors for others. Share your reflections in conversations where it feels naturalā€”it makes such a difference.

āœØ Gift Our Work:
Consider sharing the gift of this work with those you love. Our books, teachings, and practices make meaningful gifts for friends, colleagues, or family members who might benefit from the presence and love they offer.

āœØ Make Recommendations:
If you know of retreat centres, bookshops, libraries, or communities that align with our ethos, please introduce them to our work. These recommendations can open new paths for others to discover the teachings and find their own connection to presence and awareness.

āœØ Spread the Word:
If youā€™re connected to individuals, media outlets, podcasts, or broadcasters who might resonate with our offerings, please share our work with them. Your voice can help us grow in ways that remain authentic and true to our purpose.

This work is deeply personal, and its reach depends on the loving hands of those who have found it meaningful. Whether you leave a review, share a book, or mention it to someone who might benefit, your support is invaluable.
Thank you for helping us create a ripple effect of presence, love, and authenticity in the world. We see you, weā€™re grateful for you, and we couldnā€™t do this without you.

With love,
John

My Prayer Everday:
May all beings know the truth of the light that is, and in that truth may we begin to make our world as intended.

We gathered last evening for the most beautiful Satsang and Open Meditationā€”spaces filled with honesty, humanity, and a shared presence that felt deeply alive. My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who joined, showing up with such openness.

In these challenging times, our Sangha isnā€™t about retreating from the world but meeting it fully, embodying presence and kindness in each moment. Itā€™s an honor to serve this community, and itā€™s the love of those who walk this path, no matter how few, that keeps the world moving towards light.

Thank you for being here. May we continue to walk this journey together, with love and purpose.

With love,
John

Beloved, in a world overflowing with voices pulling at your attention, remember that true wisdom doesn't reside in the noise of others.

Many voices today attempt to tweak the lower parts of our consciousness by offering rational-sounding ideas that can stir our fears or doubts.

But there is a truth far greater than this, one that lives quietly within you, waiting patiently for your return.

Give yourself permission to let go of those external voices and, instead, turn toward the grace that already resides within your being. Your inner knowing is far wiser than the world's distractions. Trust it. Allow yourself the gift of reclaiming your own agency and walking the path of your deepest truth.

With love,
John

Iā€™ve always been drawn to those who transgress the boundaries set by society. Those that didnā€™t fit in, and they didnā€™t want to. Instead, they made space for others to find themselves by challenging norms and opening doors to new possibilities.

At The Open Space, we live by a similar ethos. Itā€™s not about conformity or quick fixes, but about stepping fully into your truth, no matter how quiet or unconventional it may seem. Itā€™s for those who are ready to live authentically, to find their own way, and to embrace simplicity amidst the noise.

The door is always open for you to join us when you are ready on this path of deep reflection and spiritual clarity
ā€”a place for people like us, who know thereā€™s more to life than fitting in.

Many years ago when I was going to publish a book with @penguinukbooks My editor took me to a huge bookstore and said to me ā€˜visualise where you book sits. Who are the authors around you.ā€™ Iā€™m grateful to say I donā€™t need to imagine and visualise these days, because hereā€™s himself on the shelf and my book friends Michael Singer, Eckhart Tolle, Krishnamurti & Osho give me quite the company to live up to.

Ps The Penguin book didnā€™t happen in the end but I got this way of seeing from that bit of the journey.
