My name is Darlene. My husband and I live on a 70-acre farm that has belonged to my family since 1909.
We raise heritage beef, pork, lamb, laying hens, and honeybees on our farm. In addition to growing our own food, we have a farm business selling our products directly to the end consumer. It's a fascinating world on the farm, with many different aspects to consider.
Whether you're a seasoned chef or a novice cook, a farmer interested in sustainable agriculture, or simply looking for a new hobby, there's something for everyone. I grew up on a working farm, learned from fiercely independent parents, and am excited to share my experiences. From growing our vegetables and raising bees for honey to discovering new recipes and cooking techniques, there's always something new to find in food & farming.
