He is also known as "Jagar Samrat" since he has presented millions of ways to evoke the essence of "Jagar" and the value of connection with the roots via Music and Tradition.
He has received many awards by state gov. and central gov. of India. He is also visiting professor in Cincinnati University and University of Illinois. Apart from this, he is very well versed with the knowledge of Human interaction with Music, and its existence and impact on Humans.
He is also referred as " The Pride of Uttarakhand" in Uttarakhand due to his contribution towards, culture, music, and tradition.
