She is an author "Cancer ate my bones God preserved my spirit" and a musician having prodiuced her own song "Rusia's cancer story." Following her cancer experience, Rusia,dedicated her efforts to supporting cancer patients and their care givers to navigate their cancer journey through the RusiaBariho Cancer Care Foundation leveraging on medical and complementary treatments(Integrative cancer care) to improve patients quality of life and increase chances of cure.
