Mantra is a reworked version of our Yin Yang Self-Meditation, the audiovisual meditation tape which we released back in 2019. We used elements from this original recording in Mantra such as the the stream of consciousness and the the heartbeat which we sped up to use as one of the bass drums in Mantra. Whereas Yin Yang Self-Meditation invites you to look inward, we invite you to express yourselves with Mantra.
The video for Mantra consists of footage taken from the original Yin Yang Self-Meditation video, directed by Jorre Janssens and was re-edited by Hugo Campan.

These are not talking points that youâd ordinarily hear on the dancefloor but Charlotte AdigĂ©ry and Bolis Pupul are ripping up the rulebook with their music. The Ghent-based duo, who broke out with their 2019 Zandoli EP on Soulwaxâs record label DEEWEE, are rare storytellers in electronic music: they take the temperature of the time and funnel them into their playful synth concoctions â never didactic and always with a knowing wink.
