InnoVillage is a pioneering initiative that fosters collaboration between the ICT and tourism sectors, aiming to drive innovation, sustainable growth, and socio-economic cohesion.
Five innovative digital solutions were created to animate the hidden heritage of developing Moldovan rural touristic destinations. The Parade of Villages with Touristic Potential was presented at the InnoVillage Demo Event on the 20th of June 2023. Since then Mitoc, PuhÄceni, TeliČa, TemeleuČi, and Rogojeni can be discovered in a different way - digital way!
The project InnoVillage - talent scaling for sustainable tourism was implemented between December 2022 and June 2023 through the Polish Challenge Fund, which is an initiative of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub, supporting the use of innovative solutions and Polish know-how, knowledge, and experience to solve development challenges in the Republic of Moldova.
